Hello Monday!

So today has been a very gloomy day outside. I might make some soup to warm the soul. I found this recipe for lentil soup from Food.com that is perfect for a cold gloomy day. My Hubby and I loved it and it's very filling.

TGIF!

So I'm glad it's Friday. Having game night with some of our friends tonight and I'm excited :)

Spent the day cleaning and picking up the house a bit. I also received my free nail polishes from Zoya. They were having something going on Facebook and by entering a code you got to have 3 free nail polishes which are worth like $7 each. I love the colors. You lovelies should check them out!

PS. Do any of you guys have game night?

Blizzard Bloghop!

Blizzard Bloghop 2010 hosted by Household 6 Diva

Welcome to my blog! I just started so it's still in working process. The reason for this blog is to write about my adventure of being a military wife, sharing photos, recipes I'm loving and random thoughts. I've been married to my high school sweetheart for a little over 2 years. He is the love of my life and my best friend.

We have a 2 year old Yorkie named Bella. (Yes if your wondering, I did name her because of Twilight lol) She could be very stubborn and very spoiled but I love her to death! We treat her like if she was really our daughter.

I love cooking and baking. I probably watch the Food Network more than anyone I know lol. Other things I really enjoy is reading, fashion, music, photography, traveling and make-up. I'm obsessed with candles and I always have one lit. I'm a psychology major and I one day would like to work with kids. I love children and I can't wait to be a mommy one day (soon I hope!)

Anyways..thanks for stopping by! I hope every one is having as much fun as I am discovering awesome bloggies!

Hello world!

Photobucket

My name is Kathy and I'm a 23 year old military wife. My husband and I met in high school and started dating one month before we graduated in 2005. He had already enlisted before we started dating so he left for basic a few months after. A year and 6 months after, he proposed and we got married March 1, 2008 and I moved to Dover, DE. Shortly after that, he got orders to go to Korea for a year(unaccompanied)which turned into a year and 6 months of the worst time of our lives. It was hard especially since we hadn't had the chance to live with each other for not even a year. But we fought through it and we made it. During the time in Korea he re-enlisted and cross-trained into another job and then we were off to San Angelo, TX. When he finished his tech school he got orders to Virginia and here we are now! We have been here since July and I could say I like it more here than in the other places we were before. We have met very nice people here and my husband seems to be enjoying he's job. I was able to finish my associates and I'm just happy! I do miss my family very much though but that's one more sacrifice of being in the military world. I do thank God for all good things that have come our way and I don't regret anything I have done. Each day I fall more in love with my husband.

So follow my blog if you like. I look forward to meeting new people and hope I could be of help if someone needs it.
